StockMove Express and Electronic Identification

A feature of the StockMove Express package is the ability to read and use electronic identification (EID) tags with a suitable EID reader.

Having the ability to show animal information on the telephone handset including Dam and Sire details whilst in the field is a great feature of the new StockMove Express package. With the ability to store and display hundreds of animals details at the click of the handset, StockMove Express is a powerful tool out on the farm!

StockMove Express has been designed specifically to make the most of the modern technology. Using the optional electronic identification screens, animal information can be displayed with a wave of the hand!

Where EID is already in use, producers are able to scan the ear tag using the stick reader available from Shearwell Data and send the tag numbers from the reader to the mobile phone in an instant.

EID information can be stored on the phone to provide stock information whilst out on the farm.

StockMove Express allows the producer to send animal details via the mobile network to the NLMD (National Livestock Management Database), a farmer-based secure data storage facility for onward transmission to CTS and detailed reporting if required.
