Te Pari Racewell DR3 Auto Sheep Drafter

Fully automatic sheep drafter

This is a dedicated weighing and drafting machine that draws heavily on the tried and tested Racewell technology. It has 4 button remote control of all drafting operations and adjustable magic eye optical sensors to control the opening and closing of the gates. This magic eye adjustment enables you to set the perfect read position for stock of all sizes. It has a robust steel frame and the working areas of the machine are protected with plastic guards to protect electronics and wiring.

The weigh cells are integrated into the main frame of the unit keeping them and the electronics above the animals and well away from any dirt build-up around the bottom of the machine where load bars have traditionally been located. Capable of handling over 600 sheep per hour, the DR3 allows jobs that used to take all day to be completed in a fraction of the time with a high degree of safety and with ease.

Te Pari Racewell HD3 Sheep Handler

This is a really efficient and useful tool for what we like to call 'precision sheep management'. It can weigh and draft fully automatically by weight or EID and is also invaluable when doing dagging, capsule drenching and tagging. Te Pari Racewell HD4 Sheep Handler

The new Racewell HD4 Sheep Handler is a fully automatic sheep system with 4 way drafting. Based on the well proven Racewell HD3 Handler the new HD4 model has several significant upgrades.

The lead up race has an automatic backing hook that is activated by a magic eye preventing the sheep backing and improving the flow into the handler. This handler also features an upgraded dashboard and radio remote control that controls all functions.

Te Pari Racewell HD6 Sheep Handler

Based on the 3-Way HD3 Handler the Racewell HD6 Sheep Handler, this model can weigh and draft (fully automatically) up to 6 ways – by weight or EID – and simultaneously allowing you to dag, capsule drench or tag.

It is an ideal unit for producers finishing large numbers of lambs, or for sheep studs, and it allows you to make the very most out of EID-based flock recording.
